Each Petite Original is like a sister piece to a larger work and is hand-painted. The Petite Originals are a limited collection of miniature works in a more compact and varying format. Each of these small artworks is an individual interpretation of the experiences and emotions that live in my larger works, but expressed in its own, personal way.
Part of a Bigger Story
Each Petite Original tells part of the story or can be an addition to it. These works are not reproductions or copies but are independent artworks that make the essence of the original tangible in a new context.
What Makes the Petite Originals Special?
- Stories in Small Form: The Petite Originals capture the essence of my larger works but in a more compact yet equally expressive form.
- Limited and Exclusive: Each piece is unique and will not be repeated. There will be a maximum of five Petite Originals created from any given large original work in different formats.
- Personal and Emotional: Each Petite Original tells part of my personal journey – and does so in a very personal way. Even though I am telling my own stories, abstract painting gives you the freedom to interpret what you see.
