The Waldsee in Freiburg is not only a picturesque getaway but also a vibrant party hotspot for students. As soon as the sun sets, the lake transforms into a lively meeting point, where young people come together to fully embrace the city’s electrifying nightlife.

My artwork, "Waldsee (Freiburg Edition)," captures the energetic atmosphere of this special place. The blue tones symbolize the cool winter temperatures, while the intense yellows and reds reflect the passionate, fiery spirit of Freiburg’s summer nights.

This piece is a reminder that Freiburg is a city of contrasts—experiencing both cold, white winters and warm, spirited summers. It’s a place that surprises and enchants, shaped by its diverse climate and dynamic energy.

For me, Freiburg remains an unforgettable chapter of our student years—one filled with memories, friendships, and adventure.
